Fourth day. Kanoe uma. ¹ It {began} raining at dawn. {The rain} stopped and it {became} clear during the Hour of the Snake {9-11 a.m.}. Today, a moxibustion ² was planned. His Lordship the Viceroy came. Around the end of the Hour of the Horse {1 p.m.} [Tanba no] Tadayasu ³ and [Tanba no] Shigeyasu ⁴ arrived. Tadayasu performed the moxibustion. ⁵ After it was finished, Sir Tadayasu was given a horse. Shige[yasu] was given 6 jō ⁶ of silk.
